My hair always looks fabulous when I have it done at the Laura N salon. I relocated from London a few years ago and I didn't think I would be able to find a place to get my hair braided in Northamptonshire but I was wrong! Laura is always so accommodating, reasonably priced and super helpful & kind. The salon is easy to locate and I can more often than not get the appointment date and time when it suits my schedule. I can’t recommend this salon enough. My son had his starter locs done here, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Laura, the owner, is so welcoming and instantly makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk through the door. The atmosphere is calm, friendly, and genuinely relaxing. Benny and the rest of the staff are absolutely lovely — patient, kind, and very professional. They were incredibly gentle with my son, which meant so much to me as a parent. They took their time, explained what they were doing, and made sure he was comfortable throughout the whole process. Since getting his starter locs, my son actually looks forward to his monthly visits for his retwist. He enjoys coming to the salon, feels relaxed there, and is always happy with the results. It’s clear they truly care about their clients and take pride in their work. Thank you to Laura, Benny, and the whole team for such a wonderful experience — we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Laura is an amazing hair stylist. I always leave with my locs looking neat, clean, and perfectly done — her attention to detail really shows. The whole experience is always professional, gentle, and comfortable, and she always makes sure everything is exactly how I want it. She’s knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about her work. I leave feeling confident and well looked after. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a top-tier hairstylist!

My first experience at hair by Laura N was completely positive and professional. Laura was lovely listening to all of my concerns regarding my appointment while also maintaining a comfortable environment where I could be relaxed and heard. Her communication outside of our appointment was also impressive and I felt comfortable reaching out to her with any queries. I left her chair looking and feeling amazing with my buss down clueless sew in and will be booking my next appointment very soon. If you're a girly looking to try something new trust Laura!! She got you.
